**INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC TEACHER**

Elementary/Middle School Level

10-Month Position

**NJ Department of Education Certification Required**

* Music ***or***
* qualify for certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program

**Qualifications**:           

* Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate for Music or ability to obtain certification through the Limited Instructional Certification Program.
* Holder of Certificates of Eligibility must complete the 50-hour pre-professional experience as required by the NJ Department of Education.
* Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods.
* Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Effectively communicates and understands job instructions both verbally and written in the English language.
* Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
