Duties Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to individual student needs, incorporating curriculum development best practices for piano, voice, and various instrumental disciplines Deliver engaging, energetic instruction to students of all ages, including children, early childhood learners, and adults in both classroom and one-on-one settings Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and participation Assess student progress regularly through performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Incorporate diverse teaching methods such as tutoring, theater techniques, dance (ballet and dancing), photography, sewing, cooking, and culinary arts to enrich the learning experience when appropriate Coordinate with parents or guardians regarding student development and progress in a clear and transparent manner Maintain organized records of lesson plans, attendance, assessments, and student achievements Experience Proven experience in teaching music or related arts such as theater or dance with children or adults Strong background in curriculum development tailored to various age groups and skill levels Classroom management skills that foster respectful and productive learning environments Experience working with children in early childhood education or preschool settings is highly desirable Familiarity with behavior management strategies and childhood development principles Prior experience in tutoring or providing specialized instruction for students with diverse learning needs including special education or childhood development programs Additional skills in photography, sewing, culinary arts, ballet, or other creative disciplines are a plus but not required This position is ideal for passionate educators eager to inspire through music while leveraging their broad skill set.
