Creates an aesthetic environment in which students can develop their individual talents. A talent education teacher is required to work in a school setting. The talent education teacher may be itinerant; therefore, the work day consists of the number of hours required of teachers at the school at which the gifted education teacher signs in on any given day. A talent education teacher must be able to communicate in English both orally and in writing; must have the ability to accurately give and receive information both in person and via a telecommunication system; must be able to communicate successfully and pleasantly with students, peers, supervisors, and the community. The teacher must be able to work compatibly in group settings; must be able to respond positively to supervision and to accept suggestions for improvement; serves as liaison between the school and community.
