Future of Music is building a talent pool of passionate individuals interested in helping us expand our work with young people through music education, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and personal development.

Rather than hiring for one specific position, we are accepting general interest applications for several current and future opportunities. Applicants will share their experience, skills, interests, and availability, and our team will determine which opportunities may be the best fit.

Compensation

Future of Music is a growing nonprofit organization, and compensation varies by opportunity.

Some positions are paid contract or stipend-based roles, while others are volunteer opportunities.

Certain leadership and development opportunities, including some Chief of Staff and grant-writing work, may initially be funding-contingent. This means compensation is not guaranteed at the time of application and may become available when designated grant or organizational funding is secured.

Specific compensation terms, expectations, and payment conditions will be clearly communicated before an applicant accepts an assignment or position.

We’re interested in people with a wide range of experience levels. Depending on the opportunity, we value:

* Music, DJing, production, or creative arts experience

* Grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development experience

How the Talent Pool Works

Submit a general application describing your experience, skills, interests, and availability. Future of Music will review your application and determine whether your background aligns with a current or upcoming opportunity.

Joining the talent pool does not guarantee placement, employment, compensation, or a specific number of hours. Selected applicants will receive additional information about the specific opportunity, responsibilities, time commitment, and compensation structure before moving forward.
