General Responsibilities: • To teach the Word of God and the required music curriculum to PK-Middle School students • To instruct students in music theory, performance, and appreciation in order to encourage creativity, develop musical skills, and build confidence and self-expression. • To cooperate with the Administrators and all staff in establishing a Christian learning environment in the school. • Maintain effective Christian discipline in the classroom by applying both Law and the Gospel. • Use appropriate procedures to evaluate student attendance and achievement. • Work with Trinity’s Director of Parish Music (DPM) to select music and scheduling of school choirs participation in worship services.
