Responsibilities

Perform lively and engaging piano accompaniments for karaoke singers across a variety of music genres
Assist guests in selecting songs that suit their vocal style and skill level, offering encouragement and support
Maintain a welcoming and energetic atmosphere by interacting positively with guests and encouraging participation
Manage song requests efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions between performances
Ensure all musical equipment, including the piano and sound system, is properly maintained and set up before each event
Collaborate with venue staff to coordinate event schedules and special themed nights
Support the overall entertainment experience by bringing enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude to every performance

Requirements

Proven proficiency in playing the piano, with the ability to perform a wide range of musical styles suitable for karaoke
Strong understanding of popular music genres and song structures
Experience performing in live entertainment settings or similar roles preferred
Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and staff effectively
Ability to read sheet music and adapt performances based on audience engagement
Knowledge of theater or stage performance techniques is a plus but not required
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
