Keyboardist

Principal Function The Church Pianist is a committed Christian willing to help fulfill the vision of Agape Community Church (to be a "community of faith formed in Christ for the glory of God and the sake of others"), who provides piano music and accompaniment for scheduled worship services and other activities in support of the music ministry of the church. The work is done cooperatively, especially with the choir directors and the Pastor of Worship and Arts. • Experience in church worship, with both piano and other music (backing tracks/understanding and familiarity with blended worship expected). • Flexibility to play in blended style worship services (incorporating both traditional and more modern music) • Knowledge of the instrument/keyboard with the ability to sufficiently play hymns, modern songs and anthem accompaniments. • Maintain an accurate account of piano needs and maintenance and notify the Pastor of Worship and Arts.
