Keyboardist / Church Organist

Join our church as a Keyboard / Church Organist and bring inspiring music to life during worship services and special events. Duties

Perform on the church’s keyboard and/or organ during weekly services (Sunday Morning Worship- 11:30AM , Wednesday Night Service - 7PM, Thursday evening Choir Rehearsal (1 Hour)
Collaborate with the Worship Leader to select appropriate musical pieces that complement worship themes
Maintain and tune keyboard and organ instruments to ensure optimal sound quality
Lead rehearsals with choir members or soloists to prepare for upcoming services or events
Assist in arranging music selections that reflect the congregation’s spiritual needs and musical preferences
Support the overall musical ambiance by adjusting sound levels and acoustics as needed during performances

Skills

Proficiency in playing the keyboard and/or church organ with excellent technical skill and musical sensitivity
Strong understanding of liturgical music, hymns, and baptist worship styles
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clergy, choir members, and staff
Flexibility to perform at various times, including weekends, evenings, and special events
Passionate about using music as a tool for spiritual connection, inspiring congregation engagement, and fostering community spirit

Pay: $500.00 per week
