Our students range from young beginners to teens and adults, and our instructors help them develop strong musical fundamentals while learning music they are excited to play.What You’ll DoTeach private and semi-private piano and keyboard lessonsWork with students of varying ages, musical interests, and ability levelsDevelop students’ technique, musicianship, music-reading, and performance skillsIncorporate contemporary music while building strong musical fundamentalsPrepare students for performances and other school opportunitiesCommunicate effectively with students, parents, and Bach to Rock staffCreate a positive, engaging and professional learning environmentWhat We’re Looking ForStrong piano/keyboard skills and musicianshipExperience teaching piano/keyboard or working with developing musicians is preferredAbility to work effectively with children, teens, and adultsComfortable teaching both fundamentals and contemporary musicDependable, energetic, positive and professionalA music degree or current music study is a plus, but demonstrated musicianship and teaching ability are equally importantEvening and/or Saturday availability is especially valuableWhy Bach to Rock?You focus on teaching—we provide the students, teaching space, curriculum resources, scheduling support, and opportunities for students to perform and collaborate with other musicians.This is an excellent opportunity for a musician who enjoys teaching and wants to be part of a growing music school and arts community in Lincoln.Position: Part-time Location: Bach to Rock Music School – Lincoln, NebraskaIf you love playing the keyboard or piano and enjoy helping others discover music, we would love to meet you.
