@Southwest Louisiana Independence Center (@SLIC) is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSW) to provide overnight care (Sun- Thurs) & on Saturday the shift will be (8am to 8pm) for 2 young males in the Lafayette area. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with pets, as the consumers has animals. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the physical care of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to age, illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. 3.Assist with nightly rotation with consumers.
