Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute creative concepts for concerts and festivals, ensuring unique and engaging attendee experiences. Source, negotiate, and contract with musical artists and performers. Create and manage detailed production schedules and timelines. Develop and oversee comprehensive event budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate all logistical aspects, including venue selection, permitting, and vendor management (staging, sound, lighting, security, catering). Lead and mentor the production team, assigning tasks and ensuring accountability. Oversee on-site execution of events, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery. Implement robust health and safety protocols for all events. Manage post-event evaluations, including financial reconciliation and performance analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, agents, venues, and industry partners. Qualifications:
Extensive experience (7+ years) in live event production, specifically concerts and festivals. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale budgets and complex logistics. Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of technical production elements (audio, visual, lighting, staging). Strong negotiation and contract management abilities. Proven ability to thrive under pressure and manage unexpected challenges. Passion for live music and a keen eye for artistic detail.
