Lead Contemporary Musician

Position Overview Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking a talented and passionate musician to lead and coordinate the music for our Sunday contemporary worship services. This role involves selecting music that enhances worship and aligns with LCMS (Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod) doctrine, leading a team of musicians, communicating with the church office with planning and working closely with the pastoral and worship teams to create a dynamic and spiritually enriching environment. • Assist in planning and executing special music programs or events as needed (Rally Day, Outdoor Worship, special services). • Be available for other duties, including assisting in planning music for weddings, funerals, and other church-related events. • Familiarity with contemporary Christian music • Familiarity with Lutheran worship • Ability to work collaboratively with musicians, pastoral staff, and volunteers • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills • A heart for worship and a desire to lead others in hearing God's good grace and singing his praises • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the changing needs of the worship team and congregation • Experience with music software and sound equipment.
