About the Job We are looking for a skilled Music Educator to join our faculty at Uncommon Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing music curricula that promote musical excellence and creativity in our students. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards; • Support school instructional and cultural needs including but not limited to academic teaching coverage, test proctoring, daily systems duties, additional supportive duties; • Collaborate with colleagues to create and plan for multiple performances throughout the school year; Requirements • A commitment to educational equity and the ability to effectively communicate with students and families; • Piano and vocal proficiency, knowledge of recorder, basic guitar.
