Lead Musician

First Church is looking for a Lead Musician to encourage the congregation’s worship of God through music and song. This position will be responsible for planning worship music for the 9 a.m. Sunday worship services and special worship services, in collaboration with the Senior Minister. Specifically, providing vocal, guitar or keyboard leadership, rehearsing and directing the worship team... Additional duties include selecting and purchasing music, fostering a spirit of affirmation and welcome in the worship team, liaising with the AV technicians to support livestreaming, and managing instrument maintenance. The ideal candidate is able to work collaboratively with others, is engaged in their personal journey of faith and has an abiding appreciation of the values and traditions of the Christian faith. Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
