Join Music & Arts as a Lead Sales Associate and be a key player in delivering outstanding customer experiences in our retail store. In this dynamic role, you'll engage with students, parents, and educators to uncover their musical aspirations, recommend suitable instruments, accessories, and lessons, while also supporting rental and repair service sales. You'll be responsible for processing transactions, managing merchandising, and maintaining a neat and welcoming store environment. Collaborate with teachers and school representatives to enhance local programs, achieve sales targets, and mentor junior associates, all while fostering a student-centered, collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers to identify their musical needs and recommend tailored products, rentals, and lessons.Accurately process sales, rentals, returns, and repair service orders at the point of sale.Support merchandising initiatives, stock organization, and overall inventory management on the sales floor.Promote and facilitate enrollment in music lessons and educational programs.Collaborate closely with school service representatives and educators to enhance local music initiatives.Strive to meet or exceed both individual and store sales and service goals.Provide expert guidance on band and orchestra instruments and accessories.Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring store presentation meets high standards.Mentor and support junior sales associates in product knowledge and effective sales techniques.Maintain a student-focused, inclusive, and service-oriented store culture.Essential Skills
