Lecturer - Music and Director of Bands

Required Qualifications: • Master’s degree in music education, Band Conducting, or a related field is required • Evidence of successful experience directing advanced band programs and a commitment to undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education • Demonstrated expertise in teaching instrumental methods, conducting, music theory and applied teaching • Experience in directing marching band and athletic pep bands • Evidence of excellence in communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Commitment to fostering a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment • Demonstrated ability to apply a responsive and flexible approach that is supportive of the needs including universal access of our students, faculty, staff and the public.
