Job Description This is a 12 month non-tenure track faculty position renewable annually with initial appointment through the end of academic year 2015. This position will teach courses in the Music Department of the College of Arts and Sciences and assist the Director of University Bands reporting within the Division of Student Affairs. Responsibilities outside the academic classroom include writing music, teaching music, and conducting music rehearsals, with primary focus on the brass and pep band. The position will also assist with student recruitment and consistent communication of band conduct standards to all band members. Required Qualifications This position requires a Master’s degree in Music and demonstrated musical ability as a conductor of marching, concert, and pep bands.
