The Site Director is responsible for the Camp Levine operations of the site that serves up to 50 campers for the session. The ideal candidate should be outgoing and enthusiastic about supporting children and teachers in an arts‑based camp setting. Communicate and meet with the Director of Camp Levine prior to the camp season. Plan for and lead the Site Orientation & Setup Days for teachers, staff, and teen apprentices, to ensure the site is prepared for the first day of the camp session. Along with the Camp Director, enforce any site‑specific laws regarding fire/tornado drills, licenses, background checks, fingerprinting, CPR/First Aid certifications, and CPS procedures.
