Job Description

Walker Methodist Highview Hills is recruiting for a Life Enrichment Assistant to collaborate with the Director of Life Enrichment and Life Enrichment Assistants to provide activities designed to meet resident social and recreation needs through engagement in activities. May assist with driving van and outing escort. Individual and group program participation will focus on our Memory Care residents.

Part-time, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm including one weekend per month and holiday rotation

Qualifications

Strong talent in playing piano or keyboard and comfort in leading musical activitiesPassion to work with seniors and help them experience life to the fullestHeightened awareness of dementia and the aging processEngaging, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and overflowing with creativity to share in planning new activitiesOne year experience in an assisted living, independent or long-term care environment preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentCurrent Minnesota driver's license with good driving recordAbility to live the Walker Methodist's Customer Service PrinciplesAbility to embrace Walker Methodist's Mission: Life.
