Liturgical Musician for Our Lady of Mount Carmel

We are seeking a Liturgical Musician for Our Lady of Mount Carmel in San Diego to lead the faithful in the sacred music of the liturgy. This part-time position requires 6-10 hours of work per week, with opportunities to work on special occasions. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in music, or equivalent experience in music ministry, and possess excellent sight reading skills, thorough knowledge of organ/piano playing, and awareness of liturgical elements. Primary responsibilities include accompanying two Sunday morning Masses, making regular choir practices, and actively practicing and preparing music outside of practice. A passion for sacred music and serving in liturgical ministry is essential.
