Liturgical Musician, Part-Time, St. Martin of Tours Parish job at Diocese of San Jose. The primary responsibilities of the Liturgical Musician include proclaiming the faith of the congregation through the ministry of music and helping the assembly grow in faith through their participation in the liturgical life of the parish. The Liturgical Musician works in collaboration with the Pastor(s) and Director of Liturgy to plan and administer an active series of worship, music, and arts events which appeal to the parish community. Should be able to carry a tune and be consistent in that skill without excessive coaching. Must have sung with the church choir consistently for at least two months before cantoring and must continue to be an active member of the choir on a regular basis.
