Work includes setting up music stands, percussion equipment, and chairs prior to rehearsals, assisting the conductor with logistics during rehearsal, putting away and replacing equipment after rehearsals. You will learn logistical skills as well as the nuances of working with artistic and musical organizations. 15 Saturday morning rehearsals per year from 7 AM to 2 PM at $144 per rehearsal. Additional weekend concerts 6 times per year compensated at $216 per concert. Compensation: $18/hour, $8,856 for the season (September - May).
