Major Gifts Officer

Confidential Sacramento, California

Working with other members of the Advancement team, this position is responsible for identifying and cultivating a pipeline of donors and prospects as well as creating unique engagement experiences to connect major donors with SFCM students, faculty, and alumni. This position will play a key role in SFCM's upcoming endowment campaign, which will increase funding for special programs, faculty initiatives, and scholarships. SFCM has just successfully completed a multi-year strategic plan that launched innovative new programs like Roots, Jazz, and American Music and Technology (RJAM) and Technology and Applied Composition (TAC) and has achieved 130 million for our campus expansion. Our students and alumni are doing incredible work in a range of disciplines: landing positions at the world's top ensembles, working at the intersection of music and technology in Silicon Valley, and starting their own organizations and even going to medical school.
