Summary/Objective Job Description About the BSO Founded in 1881, the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is one of the foremost orchestras in the world. Assist Music Director with day-to-day business and personal matters, including the management of Boston and Tanglewood rental properties. Organize and manage distribution of all travel, hotel and driving schedules for Music Director, Pops conductor, and all guest conductors, guest soloists, and visiting composers throughout the Symphony Hall (including Pops) and Tanglewood seasons. Coordinate artists’ security needs at Symphony Hall and Tanglewood with relevant Boston and Tanglewood staff/security and artists’ management. Assist the BSO, Tanglewood, and Boston Pops administrations with special projects, as needed.
