Manager of Orchestra Personnel

Summary of Position • This position builds and maintains trust among orchestra musicians and administrative staff, serves as a liaison between musicians and management, and fulfills the duties of the Director of Orchestra Personnel in their absence. • Works with the Director of Orchestra Personnel in administering the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with respect to all services, including start and end times, breaks, attendance, seating, musicians’ needs, and official communication. • Along with the Director of Orchestra Personnel, distributes information on weekly schedule, rosters, etc. • In collaboration with the Director of Orchestra Personnel and Auditions Coordinator, assists in the coordination and execution of all auditions. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate calmly and effectively in both routine and high-pressure situations.
