Merchandise Specialist (VB Amphitheater)

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO Objectives of the Role Provide an exceptional merchandise purchasing experience for all guests and fans in Live Nation venues Fulfill the order of guests in a timely fashion, ensuring they receive the correct items and sizes as requested Accurately ring-up guest purchases in Live Nation’s sales system Act as a brand ambassador for Live Nation, its local sponsors, and the venue Duties & Responsibilities Participate in inventory count-in and count-out procedures Create visually appealing displays and price items correctly Complete sales transactions for each guest Support successful sales operations at each event Contribute to a positive work environment Perform physical duties as required by the role, such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise between locations Take direction from their supervisor, the venue’s Merchandise Manager WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING Skills & Qualifications Specialists are detail oriented, supporting accuracy and completeness in order fulfillment Specialists are quick thinking and able to respond to guest requests Specialists are guest oriented, focusing on their requests Specialists must be team-driven, working as part of a larger unit Specialists need the ability to interact with guests politely Specialists should be self-starters that do not require significant supervision Specialists must have basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Experience Guest service positions desirable Retail sales backgrounds not necessary Positions that leverage customer service or hospitality Prior experience is not as important as the appropriate attitude and interpersonal skills Job Requirements Must be 18 yrs.
