Minister of Music is a part-time position that serves the church by assuring that music is provided at all worship services and by selecting and providing piano and/or organ music at those services, by developing, coordinating, and administering an effective and well-rounded music program, by leading the vocal choir(s) and providing leadership to staff members and volunteers involved in the music ministry, and by coordinating the periodic presentation of special music events.
This is a part-time, year-round, salaried position. The Minister of Music is expected to work as many hours as needed to perform the above responsibilities. It is anticipated that this will average 10 to 12 hours per week, including worship time.
