While a degree in Music is preferred, it is not necessary if the right candidate demonstrates strong proficiency skills on the organ and piano during the audition process. Practice of the Catholic faith is required. Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner consistent with and supportive of the Church’s mission and purpose. Candidate will be required to play at the following: • Christmas Eve (4, 6, 11PM Masses) and Christmas Day (10 AM) • Masses on Holy Days of Obligation (3 Masses per day- 8:30, 12 Noon and 7PM) • Selected Feast Day Masses (such as St. Patrick and St. Francis- 1Mass at 8:30AM) • Benediction at the Feast of Divine Mercy • Annual Christmas Concert • Triduum and Easter Masses (3 Masses on Easter Sunday) • Wednesday evening choir rehearsals from late August through Pentecost Sunday. In addition: • All funeral and wedding Masses will be offered to the Music Accompanist first.
