Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Music Camp Counselors to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive, engaging environment for young musicians. You will supervise campers, facilitate musical activities, and ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere where children can thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire the next generation of musicians while developing your leadership and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with campers during all camp activities, including rehearsals, lessons, and recreational time
Assist with classroom management to promote respectful behavior and active participation
Support musical instruction by helping campers practice and prepare for performances
Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including administering basic first aid when necessary
Foster a welcoming environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and personal growth
Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and staff to address needs or concerns
Support camp logistics by helping organize materials, equipment, and performance setups

Qualification

Knowledge of music education, tutoring, or teaching experience preferred
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly; certification in first aid is advantageous
Passion for working with children and supporting their development through music and arts activities
Experience in sports coaching, theater, or babysitting is beneficial for engaging diverse groups of children
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude to foster teamwork and enthusiasm
