Reports to: Campus Ministry Director The Music Coordinator for the St. Anthony Catholic University Center is responsible for the coordination and execution of the music ministry for weekly Mass worship services and other celebrations. This role involves coordinating volunteer musicians, being a liaison between choirs and Chaplain, and ensuring that music ministry activities align with the Church's mission and values. • Serve as contact person for all the choirs at St. Anthony's • Work closely with volunteer musicians and choir directors to schedule rehearsals and ensure high-quality performances. Minimum Qualifications: • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent • Experience: Minimum of one to three years in an administrative/coordinator role • Experience playing the piano or guitar and a comprehensive understanding of liturgical music • Licenses and Credentials: Reliable transportation Minimum Knowledge and Skills: • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; • Musically proficient; • Proficiency in playing the piano or guitar and a comprehensive understanding of liturgical music; • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate volunteer musicians and choirs; • Practicing catholic with a thorough understanding of Catholic liturgy and traditions; • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; • Experience with Computer Software, Microsoft Office Suite applications and Google Calendar; • Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team; • Must have good written and verbal skills; • Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills.
