Music Director

Job Summary: Trinity Lutheran School is looking for a qualified candidate to lead as our choir & music director. They also will lead a 3/4th grade choir and a 5-8th grade choir. Duties: - Develop and execute musical programs in line with the organization's vision and goals - Conduct rehearsals, lead performances, and provide musical direction to musicians - Collaborate with other artistic staff to ensure cohesive and high-quality productions - Select appropriate music pieces for performances and auditions - Mentor and educate musicians to enhance their skills and performance abilities - Communicate effectively with musicians, staff, and stakeholders to coordinate musical activities Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Music Director or similar role in a professional or educational setting - Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire musicians towards artistic excellence - Ability to mentor, educate, and develop musicians of varying skill levels - Excellent communication skills to effectively convey musical concepts and ideas - Passion for music and a deep understanding of musical theory and performance techniques Ability to Relocate: • Burr Ridge, IL 60527: Relocate before starting work (Required)
