Music Director

Collegiate Presbyterian Church in Ames, IA is looking for a Music Director who can bring energy, vision, organization and coordination to worship services and other musical opportunities. The Music Director will work in partnership with the Pastor, choir director, organist, worship band and worship committee. Organizational and communication skills are essential for coordination between teams and volunteer musicians, to offer inspiring and diverse musical content at Collegiate Presbyterian Church. As our Music Director, you will: • Coordinate music for weekly Sunday worship services and work to align musical selections with weekly sermon themes and scriptures. • Proficiency as a music leader, preferably as a vocalist and/or with piano, and has experience leading and working with a team of musicians.
