Music Director

Job title:Music Director/Accompanist. Location:Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, LA. Job Type:Part-time. Qualifications: • Associate’s degree in music or a related field with two years of experience in managing religious musical programs in a church setting or three years of specialized experience in managing religious music programs • Two years in a music-related field • Instrumental (keyboard) and vocal music skills suitable for secondary education settings, including the ability to recommend and lead musical selections for worship • Have the ability to read music, play worship/praise music on a piano, and direct other musicians and vocalists in four-part musical scores • Provide leadership, direction, and administration for the Catholic and Protestant musical program Duties: • Lead musical direction for both Protestant and Roman Catholic worship services • Accompaniment for the rendition of music is required during worship services.
