Duties: In coordination with the pastor, provide musical leadership in Sunday worship services (10:30 – 11:30am). Provide service music: prelude, offertory, postlude, hymn accompaniment, response songs. Direct small church choir for performance in worship. Recruit and coordinate occasional guest musicians Occasional special worship services such as Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday. Compose or adapt your own musical arrangements as you feel inspired Requirements: Facility as an accompanist on piano Experience with choral leadership Position is estimated to be about four to six hours weekly plus your rehearsal time Pay: $800 - $1000 /month depending on experience.
