Music Director

The Music Director is a leader with music at their heart and soul, and both “loves to play” and “lives to teach!” School of Rock (SoR) is a performance-based, interactive music school that enriches the lives of our students while building the world’s most passionate community of performers and musicians. Primary Responsibilities: ● Manage all school music programs and education-related elements ● Define music curriculum scope and manage its execution ● Develop and manage the execution of each season showcase • Define student show assignments and casting • Coordinate season themes, song setlists, and band transitions • Promote shows in advance and drive interest in the community • Train and mentor music teachers on how to how to effectively align rehearsals with performance requirements • Ensure all show productions are properly resourced and well executed It is the policy of the School of Rock to provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
