The Music Director at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) is responsible for supervising and directing all mainstage productions and acting department classes, performances, and productions. This role involves overseeing at least one music theater production each term, mentoring students, and preparing individuals and ensembles for performances and auditions. The Music Director will also collaborate with local musicians and assist with university special events, ensuring that the ensembles effectively represent the university throughout the academic year. , • Maintain a network of local musicians to support university events. , • At least 10 years of Broadway, national tour, or major regional theater experience as a music supervisor or director, conductor, pianist, accompanist, or coach.
