Music Director

Position: Music Director (FT) Resurrection is a growing four year-old church with over 200 members. VISION FOR MUSIC STYLE: Worship music at Resurrection will be biblically sound, vibrant, joyful, substantive in content, accessible to children and new Christians, and sensitive to cultural preferences and different demographics. REPORTS TO: The Session, via the Lead Pastor • Deep personal love for Jesus and desire to see his Kingdom grow • Full alignment and investment in the vision of Resurrection Presbyterian Church • Willing to submit to the Presbyterian Church in America’s doctrinal standards • Adaptability and flexibility to work at a newer church that meets in a community center gym • 2-3 years of worship leading experience preferred • Excellent musical ability (both instrumentally and vocally) • Highly organized, responsible, responsive, and creative • Willing to joyfully submit to the leadership and direction of the pastor(s) and Session • Willing to yield stylistically and preferentially to different cultural expressions of biblical worship as they arise in our church family and target ministry areas #J-18808-Ljbffr
