Music Director

Position Title: Music Director FLSA Classification: Part-time, Temporary Reports To: Director of Middle School Position Purpose: Musical Director, & Assist with Middle School Musical Production This position will begin August, 2025 - January 16, 2026. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for the musical direction of an hour long show with somewhere between 9-12 musical numbers • Work closely with students: Engage and collaborate with middle school students, fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment. • Flexibility in working across grade levels and with students at varying levels of artistic abilities • Demonstrated knowledge of the subject area and a strong background in curriculum and instruction, classroom management, and assessment • Have the ability to respond professionally under pressure in disciplinary and emergency situations • Have experience with conflict resolution and at solving interpersonal issues • Experience running sound cues in the sound booth. The compensation range for this position is $10,000 - $15,000 based on prior experience, education, and position requirements.
