Responsibilities • Choose activities, lessons, and musical performances based on the skillset and available students • Hold auditions for each activity or musical, and assign parts as necessary • Schedule and supervise rehearsals within the appropriate school hours • Properly assess the skills of each student under your care, and work with each student to develop their individual skills • Stay up to date with trends in both teaching and the music industry • Attend staff meetings, as needed • Create budgets for productions, and work within budgetary limitations • Maintain all musical equipment, as necessary
