Title: Music Director Reports to: Pastor/Administrator Location: St. Katherine Drexel Parish Classification: Salaried/Exempt The Director of Music is responsible for music at all liturgical and non-liturgical celebrations; the training, development, and preparation of cantors, musicians and choir members; and all administrative functions associated with coordinating all aspects of the parish music ministry program in accordance with diocesan policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities • Plans and prepares all music for all liturgical activities, in keeping with the preferences of the pastor. • Demonstrates a passion for and love of liturgical music and works to instill that in the music ministers and parish community.
