Have two or more years of college in music (or related field), or equivalent years of related experience in a chapel / church setting. Must possess a broad knowledge of Contemporary music, Contemporary and blended style of Praise and Worship music, and how to lead a worship service in Contemporary worship style. Must have a general understanding and support Christian Protestant theology while working in a pluralistic environment in which the worship service is under the direction of the lead Protestant Worship Service Chaplain. Duties : Provide musical directorship for the Protestant Service at Wright Patterson AFB. Assist the Chaplain or their designated representative in developing as appropriate : annual calendar of events, Chapel Tithes and Offerings fund budget, Appropriated Fund budget, and volunteer training requirements under music programming.
