The Music Director (MD) is the person responsible for all musical output of Green Street Baptist Church, regardless of choir, and music groups. The Music Director must work in unity with the choirs and musicians to ensure that the Music Ministry meets or exceeds the standards established by the vision, mission, and goals of the church. All music used within the Music Ministry must exhibit a spirit of praise, worship, and Godliness. • Serve as the primary musician for all church accepted engagements with the Pastor and/or choir(s) • Conduct timely, regularly scheduled rehearsals with the musicians and all choirs of the church. • Prepare and present annual budget for maintenance of musical instruments and contract musicians.
