Music Director

Select music to enhance the worship atmosphere. Music shall be a selection of traditional hymns from the church hymnals and other appropriate sources of spiritual music approved by the Music Committee.Build and direct the church adult choir; lead practice sessions as deemed necessary.Lead congregational singing.Work in close harmony with the pianist and organist in arranging, scheduling and preparing for the music program.Encourage and implement individuals and groups in the selection and presentation of appropriate music; lead practice sessions as deemed necessary.Administer the music budget for the purchase of music supplies and musical equipment repair.Oversee the maintenance of the music library, materials, supplies, musical instruments and other related equipment.Keep audio/visual personnel advised in advance of specific requirements desired for services and rehearsals.Assume other specific duties as mutually agreed upon with the Pastor.
