Role Description This is a part-time role for a Music Director, based in Carlsbad, CA. The Music Director will lead and coordinate all music-related activities within the church, including planning and directing music for worship services, choir rehearsals, and special events. Proficiency in Music Theory and Church Music, with an understanding of spiritual and liturgical music traditions.Experience in Music Education and fostering growth in choir members or musicians of varying skill levels.Knowledge of and ability to contribute to Music Production for events and worship services.Passion for music and its role in enriching spiritual and community experiences.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with clergy, staff, and congregation members.Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred.Prior experience in church music leadership or a related setting is highly desirable.Proficiency with relevant software or technology for music arrangement and virtual collaboration is advantageous.
