Music Director

The Organization The Music Director will support the worship ministry by leading and coordinating musicians, preparing worship resources, organizing systems and schedules, and helping build a healthy volunteer culture. Serve as Sunday Music Director 3–4 Sundays per month, leading rehearsals and providing in-service musical direction, transitions, and cuesRegularly provide technical band leadership and musical direction for designated worship leaders who are vocally or pastorally leading servicesCollaborate on setlists, keys, arrangements, and service flow alongside worship and liturgy teamsCoordinate with worship tech, production, and service teams to ensure weekend readinessPlan and/or lead worship for additional services and church events as neededCreate and communicate musical arrangements clearly and effectivelyVolunteer Leadership & Team Development 5+ years of church worship ministry leadership experience preferredFull-time worship ministry experience strongly preferredDegree in worship ministry, music, or related field preferredStrong musical ability including vocal proficiency and high-level competency on piano and/or guitarExperience leading rehearsals, arranging music, and directing musicians in live worship environmentsExperience developing and pastoring volunteer teamsSkills & Competencies $75,000-80,000/yrFull-time position: Schedule includes Sundays, rehearsals, worship events, and weekday office/ministry responsibilitiesHealth insurance, HSA OptionDental insurancePaid Time OffCounseling / Soul Care Reimbursement⁠One Prayer Day per Month
