Our parish is seeking a Music Director. We are seeking someone who desires to follow the guidance of the Church in regards to sacred music in the liturgy, and who will work alongside the Pastor and parish leadership in fostering a deeper knowledge and appreciation for the liturgy through sacred music. Provide piano and organ music for parish liturgies--all weekend, Holy Day, and special feast... day celebrations, including: • Saturday 5:00 PM and Sunday 8:00AM and 10:00AM liturgies, Christmas, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter, Holy Days of Obligation, and other special liturgies • Rehearse and schedule all musicians for liturgies (choir, cantors, schola, instrumentalists) • Schedule musicians needed for Christmas, Easter, and other special occasions, ensuring adequate prep/rehearsal time • Coordinate/lead rehearsals as needed
