Music Director

Director of Music and Accompanist The Director of music and accompanist plans, coordinates and implements the music program for the church, including directing the Providence choir and provides instrumental music for the church’s regular Sunday service and special services (Christmas Eve, Good Friday, Veteran’s day, etc.) The Director of Music and accompanist is expected to work closely with the Pastor and the Worship and Spiritual Growth committee and is accountable to the Pastor, Session and the Congregation as provided for in the Directory of Worship (W-1.4005). a. Collaborates with the Pastor for the selection of music that is in alignment with the message and goals of the service and illuminates the sermon topic Possess a (level) degree in music education from an accredited university/college or comparable experience in a church setting
