Music Director - Community Orchestra

This is a contract, on-site role based in Austin, TX for a Music Director. The Music Director will lead the orchestra in rehearsals and performances, plan and conduct concerts, and select music that aligns with the organization’s mission. They will oversee auditions, guide musicians in refining their skills, and work collaboratively with the board and community to elevate the orchestra's presence and artistic quality. The Music Director will also play a pivotal role in engaging the community and promoting music education.
