The Music Director (¼ time, 10 hrs per week) • oversees the music program and selects a wide variety of music for services in consultation with the minister and the pianist informed by the monthly themes and Unitarian Universalist thought and practice. In coordination with the Minister and the Worship Arts Committee, plan appropriate music components for multi-platform worship services including service music, anthems, congregational singing (leading and teaching when appropriate), and guest musicians and soloists. Plan music for special worship events and services (e.g. Christmas Eve). Consulting with the Music Committee, propose and monitor the annual Music budget. \\- A commitment to the music program as a vital piece of the shared ministry of the congregation.
