Summary Description: The Music Director is responsible for the musical ministry of the church, including arranging for/leading/playing music in the services, developing the talents of and directing the church choir, providing piano or other instrumental accompaniment for congregational and choir singing at worship services and choir rehearsals, choosing and playing the prelude, interlude and... postlude at worship services, and working as requested with guest musicians needing instrumental accompaniment. - Seek out and encourage new members, lead weekly choir rehearsals, work with singers of all levels of musical abilities and maintain a plan and communicate it effectively and regularly with choir. Choose appropriate hymns and other music, including the prelude, interlude, postlude, and offertory music reflecting the theme of each service as needed (some worship leaders prefer to choose the hymns themselves) and get them to the worship associate by the Order of Worship deadline. f. Provide offertory music for worship services by the choir, Music Director. Manage the music budget, working with the treasurer and bookkeeper as needed:
